- Sparkling Views: Runner’s World magazine highlighted the Adirondack Marathon as one of the top “lakeside events that offers runners a visual break from the norm.” In the June 2014 issue (right), RW wrote “Runners follow the shores of Schroon Lake before entering wooded trails and hamlets.”
