Due to unseasonably warm weather anticipated for race day, we encourage all participants registered for the full and half-marathon to be prepared for extreme conditions. This is not the weekend to run your personal best time. All runners are advised to slow their pace from the start. Also, be well-hydrated prior to the race and utilize the aid stations throughout the course to remain hydrated.

Race organizers are closely monitoring the conditions to ensure the safety of all participants.

UPDATE: The Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival has modified its schedule of events for Sunday, September 24, 2017. The full marathon is cancelled, and the half marathon and relay races will start earlier, at 9:10 a.m. Get full details here.
