5-K and 10-K Race Details: 5 & 10K registration details available soon!
Date: Saturday, September 30th, 2023
Start: 9:30 a.m. at the Town of Chester Municipal Center, 6307 State Route 9, Chestertown.
Course: Both races are run on paved streets through the heart of the village.
Note: Covid-19 rules will be guided by New York State requirements in addition to local and regional health departments.
Packet Pick-Up:
Packet pick-up for the 5- and 10-K races will be at the Municipal Center on Rt. 9 in Chestertown on
Friday, September 29th, NOON TO 6 P.M. and SATURDAY PRE-RACE 7:30 to 8:30 A.M.
Baggage:
Bag check will at the Municipal Center for warm-up gear.
On-Course Amenities:
There are two water stations on course, plus bottled water available pre- and post-race. Food and drink is available near the finish line.
2023 Virtual Option: Any registered runner can switch from the In Person race to the Virtual race if they choose not to run the In Person race. Virtual runners are not eligible for race awards.
Individual 10K Registration – $23.00
Student 10K Registration, 18 and Under – $20.00
Senior 10K Registration 65+ – $20.00
Individual 5K Registration – $20.00
Student 5K Registration, 18 and Under – $18.00
Senior 5K Registration 65+ – $18.00
1-K Children’s Fun Run:
Date: Saturday, September 30th, 2023
Start: 2 p.m. at the Adirondack Marathon finish line in Schroon Lake.
Course: The children’s race makes a loop through the scenic town of Schroon Lake, starting and ending at the Adirondack Marathon finish line.
Ages: For runners ages 4-12.
Awards: All runners receive a free t-shirt and finisher’s medal.
Entry Fee: $10 per runner
